People are placing gems in more unexpected ways, building colour stories that feel very intentional, and really using make-up to complete a whole look rather than just adding to it. Even when it’s simple, it feels considered, and when it’s bold, it feels fully thought through,” says the make-up artist.

Festivals have always served as a melting pot of experimentation and inspiration for beauty and fashion. Though glitter, gems and embellishment have dominated for years, Sinot tells us that the beloved beauty trend is evolving. “When I think of festival make-up, I immediately think of those signature glitters placed at the temples, just beside the eyes. It’s such an easy, go-to technique, but I think we are starting to move beyond that,” she explains. “People are now experimenting more with different placements, like across the bridge of the nose, on the eyelids, above the brows, or even spread across the whole face and onto the body. It feels less fixed and more expressive than before.”
